My vote goes to Tiesto, last year winner !
A couple of weeks ago he came to Romania (the country I live) and he was amazing, perfect trasitions, great tracks. I even got an autograph and a picture with him.
Too bad I don't know the entire playlist... yet. I've recognized some tracks, but the ones I liked very much... didn't ring a bell.

I've always been a fan of Armin van Buuren's sets. My vote goes to him. B)
  3. Tim8 Oct 2003, 08:40
Marco V, because he kinda developed his own style!

I've got to agree with you Tim. He is a reallly great DJ. I don't really care for his producing as much though. I only like a few of his songs.

I whish I could keep better track of DJ's out there... I'm kinda lost when it comes to others
  6. DjDaed14 Oct 2003, 15:30
I hear you on that one Alle. It is so hard to keep track of them because there are just so many that are "coming out of the woodwork". It is a tough choice, but I am going to have to go with Moonshine Records Ferry Corsten. His last album, Mixed Live, was a great work of art. He has done many other gigs this year that are all great.

My vote goes to Judge Jules, because hes the only DJ (famous) ive ever talked 2. Tiesto, armin, lisa lashes and Yoj biokhemma are kool aswell!

    oh and Terraplex of course!

Yeah that Armin van Buuren is so hot right now, he could take a crap, wrap it in thin-foil, put a couple fishhooks on it and sell it to queen Elisabeth as earrings :)

I don't really keep track. But, I do like all of George Acosta's mixes.
  16. Ambient Soundscape12 Dec 2003, 18:58
My vote would have to go to NU-NRG
Saw them at the Sanctuary and no decks were used....Live PA absolutley awesome!! :woot:

The one and only Paul Van Dyk. Saw him 2 weeks ago on his reflections tour to south africa and he played an awesome set. He definitely lived up 2 the hype. He rocked the house!
  18. ephex20 Dec 2003, 02:13

if i name any DJs it would have to be

    1. session one
    2. a.v.b
    3. hemstock and jennings
  21. teknodave23 Dec 2003, 22:25
I am not as up on alot of the DJs as I wish I was, but by far one of my faves would be Tiesto.

Others would include Nick Warren and John Digweed..
  22. Kernel25 Dec 2003, 23:32
I really like Armin Van Buuren..
  23. Guest27 Dec 2003, 21:39

  24. Sonik31 Dec 2003, 14:31
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned DJ Scot Project (Arome). He plays some sick hard trance/house! Gotta give him props for creating so much energy. If you haven't heard some of his work, check out the following song titles under either of his aliases.

    Hands Up
    Future is Now
    Overdrive

Also, his remix of French Kiss by Nightclub is excellent too. Definately makes you want to jump.

I think Armin Van Buuren is ok...I only got to rip one set on to my HD off the radio though...DJ Tiesto is AMAZING, but I will have to give my vote to Paul Van Dyk. After a year he still impresses me. I have bootlegs of most of these DJs if you want some.

    p.s. I LOVE Nu-NRG

Armin is okay  Bootlegging track sets and listening to them at home is totally different from listening to it live. You need to check it out live before you can judge. Listening to Tiesto at home is tight, Listening to Armin Live is better. Armin is God.
  27. djdarkshade23 Jan 2004, 08:31
I'm thinkin' Christopher Lawrence is a pritty good canadate.
  28. t[]c lover27 Jan 2004, 00:40
Armin is NOT God. God is God.

I have equalizers and sound enhancers. Winamp AVS does the lights. Im straight here. Bootlegging is wrong but I dont like spending money on music, except for hardware.
