   Could I get some ideas for the rest of this track? I know that it is not finished, and the strings come right in with no breaks, I just added a snare roll and crash to it but havn't uploaded the new version. Any help would be great.

   Sounding 'aight so far :excl:
   
   I'd probably make more use of the cutting in and out of layers for the intro.
   Add a bit of clichéd filter sweeping on that cricket-like sequence.
   Needs a bit more EQ work, specially the boomin' bassline cause the kickdrum gets lost in the mix.
   I listened to the string melody a few times, imo it should be more cheesy and memorable. Also would be good with some more textures rather than the same (or similar) synth patch.
   Some percussion effects here and there would be good.
   
   Sounding alright though. Good groove. Don't delete this one.

   As Mel said, the kick does get a bit lost in the bassline.
   
   Other than that I REALLY like this. The string melody is cool don't change it. lol
   
   But yes this track is sick. Finish it!!! I want to put it in the DJ set! lol

   This track definately has lots of energy , i really agree about the kick needing to be more isolated fromt he bass , its not very powerfull how it is. also the lead and the bass seam to be really close freq and maybe blead over each other as well. cause it does sound muddy in the mid range. i would try and eq the lead up higher , and cut of the bass a little lower. also a sub melody thats higher pitch would be cool too, one that follows along with the changes of the main. i dunnoabout that filter sweep , thats a personal prefrence thing. but its sounding good i think what he is saying is make sure you put some fx in there.

   Well, just finished a version of the song. I will be uploading it and putting it in the forum. I would like some feedback on it if I could, just so I can tweak it just right. Everyone on this forum that has given me advice on this track will be put into the track info and onto the site.
