half-finished track

Hey Guys...

I found a half-finished track on my hardrive and I'm wondering what you guys think.
Is this something I should finish?

If yes, what do you want to happend in the rest of the song?

I'm thinking of maby writing some lyrics to it in "Kai Tracid - 4 Just 1 Day" style, and add to it.

I like the clap. How did you do that? Is it just gated reverb with a low decay?

Wicked 303 work... I always like that in a track.

Buildup... Buildup... here it comes... ah darn no melody yet. :P I wanna hear a melody dangit! lol

The White Point... hehe OK time for a new name... we've got The Green Point, Black Point, now White? lol... how about something more original??? :lol:

But I like the feel to this track... great quality stuff... keep me posted on it!!!

The 303 sounds good...

I dont particularily like the boom clap boom clap rythem, i dunno ive heard better stuff from you , back when you were djopium.

Tim learned me that, you put on a shitload of heavy gated reverb on the clap, and voila there you go :)

Hehe, as I said it's just a demo, I'll make this a looooong song so I can't stress in the melodies e.t.c ;)

Sounds great so far. The pads have a real hypnotic effect, something that proper trance music is s'posed to do to you. I like how the track builds up too.
Can't wait to hear the rest of it.
In my opinion, the clap is perhaps a lil too loud and could probably do with a bit more sustain on reverb, unless you are specifically after a staccato effect. And yeah some vocals would probably be good even if only for rhythmic effect, etc.

This one will be a real good track so put the time in to complete it please.

I think that its a deliberate staccato effect. I like it that way. :D

dam', man.. how old is this thing ? I remember you sent it to me like sometime before the summer...

anyways, I think your new style is great.. You probably know what I mean with that. Your little german twist and etc etc yaddayadda.. It's like, when I listen to some of your tracks, I get carried away to another dimension.. And this one is no exception. If I gave you any "What I would do"'s on here, this would maybe sound more like a L&W track ;)

Holy crap, it sounds awesome so far! But then again, I'm never that picky, so even if it weren't that good, I'd still like it! But still, wow it sounds awesome. I love the melody that starts at 1:29! The song just needs something "bigger"; bigger than the sub-melody thing. Maybe like a main lead, but something more original; use an icy-sounding synth to match the pad sound; something that would retain the mood of the track. At least, that's just what I would want. But the fact that I'm upset when it abruptly ends should tell you that you HAVE to finish this song! I love the whole mood of it; like a magical, wintery feel. Keep going!

What do you use to make your music? I think I read on your previous DJ OpiuM MP3.com account that you used Reason, so I was wondering if that was still the case.

Hey, I was listening to your song "Phase 2" the other day, and was like, "I want to hear his other songs." But I couldn't find a site with your songs on them (well, at least not at alexanderwennberg.com or mp3.com). Is there a site that I'm missing? I really want to hear your other songs! :)
