In the thread 'Old Fan' it became clear to me that the majority of t[]c fans are quite old and all male. Now, i wonder if that is what the t[]c themselves had envisioned this when they started out. I can imagine that they would've preferred perhaps a different kind of audience?

Or not? Share your thoughts please, alexander and andreas! :D :)

I am going to be 18 on Saturday and I have liked trance[]control for 3 or 4 years. I'm not that old :P.

To be completely honest I never ever expected or could forsee that we would have any fans at all... Our basic thought when we started out was to create music we enjoy ourselves, and hopefully someone else out there would share our opinions regarding our work.

I'm also very surprised to see we've got listeners in the 35+ range - In general electronic dance music appeals a younger audience - however the simple fact that we do have an older audience as well just makes the whole deal way much cooler :)

Just my thoughts on the subject...

    Best,

    Alex

So, no wishing for younger 'house' girlies? Hmmm ... good for you!

    Hey everyone,

I'm gonna be 19 in a couple of weeks (Yeah baby!! Finally legal drinking age!!), and I've been listening to t[]c for a good three years now.

About the "no girlies part", I know quite a few girls who like trance and t[]c. They just don't participate on the boards like I do. But it's definately something that my friends and I listen to at a party or somethin like that.

If I was you OLM, I might take offence to that comment. Your not old, just more experienced.

    dj daed,
i took your music, mostly on the recommendation of 'old guy' OLM here, ;)
and i've got to say it's quite good, 2 links don't work though
dj daed - 02 someone for you [club mix].mp3 -> nice
    dj daed - 03 hard times.mp3 -> cool
dj daed - 06 enter the sound.mp3 -> is nice but the intro sounds like t[]c a LOT! ripoff?

dj daed - 07 loose yourself [again].mp3 absolute top, very good !

dj daed - pabby ann also quite good, just 2nd best to no 7. And somehow i don't have the feeling she moved to Alaska ......
