So I was at platinum records the other day, and when I heard Ricky Le Roy's song One Day, I just clicked right there - I'm gonna be a DJ! That song is do damn powerful ... I was rockin out right there in the store. So yeah I have a little collection of vinyl right now and I spplied for a job at Arby's, and when I turned in my application, the manager came out and greeted me. She seemed to really like me too, I think I'm gonna get the job! I'm going to try to raise money for DJ equipment I'm gonna buy. For starters, I'll get the Stanton ST-100, a very nice deck to play my vinyl on until I get my mixer and another ST-100. It's gonna be so cool!! I can't wait to be able to afford a Stanton! So that's what's going on in my life right now.

And as far as my music goes - my computer's still crisp as bacon, so I haven't made anything since. It sucks, but it's not THAT bad ... I'm feeding my musical addiction by going to Platinum a couple times a week and stocking up on vinyl (when I have $). Hey, does t[]c have any EPs or LPs released?? I would really like to get some vinyl with their name on it!

I'm gonna be a DJ!!! w00t!! :music:

Great job finding your calling. It is a fun job, but it can be painstaking and expensive. Keeping up with the new music, buying new records, needles and cartridges adds up. Don't let that get you down though, it is well worth it. If you produce, it gives you a bit of exposure. Oh, and it pays too. I just got a new Dj job last weeked. Starting pay is $150. That is just for a local club. The bigger clubs get you bigger paychecks. If your good enough and enough people listen to you spin, you can create quite the fan base. Great great job to have.
