well, i've been diagnosed with diabetes. maybe some of you were wondering why i haven't been on here much in the past couple of months (& maybe some of you were glad :P ). but, oh well, my life has been sucking but it's a damn good motivation to write more music. so with my "mac, your life sucks" gift to myself, i will officially have a studio computer & i won't have to rely on dave mcgowen (thanks man!) tweeking test tracks in soundforge for me. hope you have all had a happy holliday season (lunar new year is coming up so i still have 1 celebration left here in korea B) )!
    cheers,
    mac

p.s. i ain't lookin for sympathy, or a "hey man that sucks"...but a "good to hear from you again!" would be cool ;)

It is good to hear from you again. Thank you for keeping us updated. Hope it all works out for you.

I know you said for us not to say things like that, but I can't help it. I have several friends with diabetes, and I know, that it can't be fun.

Welcome to the "I am a diabetic" club. It sucks but it can be beaten. Mine is under control by medication (non-insulin) but I'm sure that it would get better if I were to lose some weight...

Hang in there and do as the doc’s say, you may just beat it yet! ;)

Good to see you back bud ... but yah, what t[]c lover said ... the freestyle is the way to go, that is what my old carpool friend uses to check his.

Needles *shudder* I hate 'em. No matter what size they are. :shakehead:

ya, my advice is to look up the disease more cause from what I know, insulin is mostly a lateral move...

i am so all about the freestyle flash monitors...a friend of mine in a band that plays over here tested my blood sugar with it. didn't feel the lancet on my arm & it was FAST! so i've got one in the mail to me right now.
it just took awhile for the denial to go away  the only problem with it is that i'll want to get more tattoos :P i can't even get a shot without wanting to go out & get more tattoos!!!
