Need help with graphics

DjDaed10 Jan 2004, 03:02 I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to help me design some graphics for my website,Dj Daed Online.

i am not sure i got the time to do graphics but i can give you some tips on how to improve the looks of your site.
1. remove frame borders
2. turn off scrolling in the top frame (where it says theworldparty.net).
3. change the navigation fonts in the left frame.
4. dont work in squares. that huge black beveled button with green text and a white patch on the inside doesnt work.
5. try to make the graphics mix in with the page, so you cant see edges. that is make it mix with the background color which happens to be black.
6. apart from graphics you need to do work on the "layout" first.
7. check out some other cool lookin sites, not just limited to dj-sites. trancecontrol.com is a good example.
8. last but not least you can check out some free ready made webpage templates, theres lots of um available for download. you dont necessarily have to use them but you can get some really great ideas for design graphics and layout.

looks much prettier now.
as far as font goes...its upto you..make it something sexy...times new roman or arial is not all that good.
and make sure you do everything in shades of green....or a color that mixes well with green. i saw a couple of pages that had white background....thats a no no.
and for css rollovers just do a rollover for the navigation text not the cell.

Darkshade - Nice site. Simple, yet complex. I like the graphics. You did a great job on it. I only had one problem. When I went to the music page, there was nothing, just a page cannot be found on server. Maybe your still working on it, I don't know. But it looks great.
