I recently moved to a new house and when at the new house I plugged in a DVD player to the rear inputs and when plugging in the Video component to the Video input a spark flew between the connector and the input causing the video in Video1 mode to be blurry. Tested with my XBOX too. I think it is ElectroStatic Discharge. Any one have this problem before? Thanks!

I have worked with televisions for many years (worked at a TV station even) and I had never expreienced such a phenomeon. Very odd.

Maybe the TV was having one of its days, and did not like having anything shoved into one of its inputs.

I think the TV thought it was getting raped by the input cables.

get a monster cable® cable like the one that was raping the input.. gold, less conductive. and touch something metal before plugging it in. Not the cord, either.
