I'm happy to announce that I've just recently sneak-preview started the download area for the new trancecontrol.com - it's not the most good looking place you'll find but that's about to change...

I tried to extract the user info from the forum database, but there was an instant problem for me as the passwords for the forum database are encrypted.

So, the solution is a quick register / login interface that also will be used for our new mailing list.

Download area is to be found @ http://www.trancecontrol.com/mp3

    Enjoy!

Great! But sorry to say this, it's not all too useful for me though... I downloaded all tracks from mp3.com before it went down, just in case I would never hear t[]c music online again.
I'm gonna have a look at the TranceAtlantic videos though. I don't think I saw them ever before.
    Good luck guys!

Well, it's still a way for ppl who don't know our music as well as a foundation for new songs and other files....

More features will be added soon...

    Alex,

Gave it a try from CompuServe and IE, but couldn't log in using my present name and password. Do I need to re-register to use this site? I'm looking forward to being able to have access to your music on the net again.

Yes you do need to re-register - the reason for this is cause I could not extract the passwords from the forum database, otherwise I'd use that in a heartbeat.

    Sorry for the inconvenience...

    Best,

    Alex

The only way to extract passwords is brute forcing...
Passwords are encrypted for security reasons...
And when you are logging in, the password is encrypted and validated with that which is in database... ;-)

    Thank you, guys!

I successfully gained what I was thinking had been lost forever (joke). Thanks a lot for informing me about this new opportunity by e-mail. The two latest masterpieces which I failed to get from mp3.com on time were downloaded perfectly. I'm bringing these home tonight and going to listen to them as usual with Dolby Prologic II. If there's someone who didn't try it yet, give it a try - you'll like it, TC sounds perfect with DPL II.

Great to hear you on the net again!
Now we can all listen to your new sounds :music:

Glad your back, in a manner of speaking. Any new tracks on the way?
  10. Alle17 Dec 2003, 19:23
No new songs for the next few weeks - need to focus hard on bringing money to my household before I can set foot in the studio and have some fun.

    Will keep ya'll informed.

    Best,

    Alex

Yeah, if you read about the "bookingagent screwing" situation, you'll understand why Alex isn't working on new tracks right now. It's awesome that you've got the download page up though! That'll give new listeners songs to listen to, and a resource for others to pick up music they haven't heard before. I'm definately anxious to watch those divx videos, should be quite cool.

Take it easy, and thanks B)

YAY! ^_^ Thanx Alle. Don't burn yourself out too much tho. You work hard, and you deserver breaks now and then.

I too downloaded everything before mp3.com went buh-bye. I just got my first CD burner too (a STEAL at FIVE BUCKS) and burned some of the new songs to listen to in my car while driving to work! :music:

Don't worry too much about me, I know when my workload gets too heavy...

Btw - I also want to get the new trancecontrol.com up and the MP3 Vault was just a great way to get me started.

    Best,

    Alex
