Ambient Soundscape12 Dec 2003, 19:11 can anybody recommend some awesome software synths for hard trance, preferably with some hard as you like leads.
i need a vast sonic pallette which i seem to be lacking at the moment.ephex15 Dec 2003, 14:51 The FM7 is awesome! I would definitly recommend that, maybe not for leads though. The Pentagon I is a good all around synth, and it's cheap as well. That would be usefull for leads, etc.
z3ta+ is also a great synth, good for lots of stuff especially atmospheric stuff.Ambient Soundscape15 Dec 2003, 15:10 Thanks for the advice Ephex, most appreciated, though I already own the FM7 and your right it is definatley awesome. :D
I have my eye's on Rob Papens' Albino and I am definatley getting that this month.
Also early next year I will be the proud owner of both the Novation 25 & the Yamaha Soundcard SW1000XG :woot: :devil2:
Just you all wait an see, I will have versatility at my finguretips, a vast sonic palette & a shite load of idea's to go with it. Things are gonna get hard & dirty :pissed:
Any other virtual instruments you can recommend? :music:
cheers

(check out my new track if you get a chance, its at number 1 in the hard trance chart at the moment :woot: its called: AnalogikDjDaed15 Dec 2003, 16:38 A pretty decent one is Synth1, don't remember where I got it, but it is decent. I also use Dreamstation, FM7 (Which you already use), Muon-Tau Bassline, Triangle II. The biggest one I use is FLStudio Producer VST, it has a bunch of built in virtual synths like the 3Osc, SimSynth, Wasp, and Slayer, plus a slew of effects to use.ephex16 Dec 2003, 00:48 Synth1 is the ugliest sounding peice of sh$t I have ever heard!
I just had to say that ;). It really is though...DjDaed16 Dec 2003, 01:29 Like i said, its decent, I hardly ever use it, in fact, I think i used it once. I mostly use FLStudio Producer VST.Ambient Soundscape16 Dec 2003, 14:34 Thanks for all your advice guys 'n' gals, I will be keeping my eye's peeled for the mentioned virtual instruments :rolleyes:djdarkshade15 Jan 2004, 17:32 Indus-kitz on Orion Platinum.
