I think I've wasted my money in all this gear :(. I haven't had time to learn it and be productive with it...damn Army takes away all my time...so I'm selling all this stuff and dumping the money into my cars. So for sale I have:

    M Audio Delta 1010 interface...I paid $450 in September 2003
Novation Nova synth...I paid $500 in October 2003.
    EMU Xtreme Lead-1 synth...I paid $395 in March 2003
Mackie VLZ 1402 PRO mixer...I paid $400 in October 2003
    Behringer Truth B2031 monitors...I paid $399 in August 2003

Everything is in mint condition...I can say brand new condition...and includes the manuals and power cords.

    That is sad news :(

Though I hope you will take up music sometime when you're done with the army...

    :(

    I agree with TSV

If you really want to sell your stuff go to ebay [just stating the obvious here :P], but really I would keep it. It's not like you can drive 4 cars all at once anyway...

Hopefully you will have time to work on music again in the future ;) Then you will be glad you kept your gear.

Hmm I might be interested in either of your synths or monitors and maybe the mixer too, but I'll have to let you know in January... I hope you can hold onto them for that long???

Too bad you're getting rid of them though. :(

Hey guy, if you want, there is a mailing list here at my work (Amazon.com) where we post stuff that we are trying to sell. If you would like, I would be more than happy to post these items on the list, and tag your e-mail to it for all inquiries. ^_^

Sorry to hear that you hafta sell it all ... I have been in a similar situation, where I had to hock a ton of my stuff when I was unemployed, so I could keep the roof over my head. :cwy:

I'm a seasonal employee right now, but yah, Amazon.com has been keeping the roof over my head for the past four months. ^_^

Haha sweet, what do you do for them?
  9. t[]c lover12 Dec 2003, 01:42
aww man, the music industry will missed you, even though it is bloated.
  10. OOBE12 Dec 2003, 02:37
Thanks all. Yeah Tranzefusion, I'll hold them for you unless I get buyers if teknodave does that thing for me...I'll appreciate that favor, man. I'll make one last song with all this, even though I probably won't upload it...depends on how it comes out...thanks for all your support :(
  11. OOBE12 Dec 2003, 02:38
I'm not in a hurry to sell them, since the Army pays me $881 every 15 days...not much for 3.5 years I've been in and being an E-4 but oh well...I'm single with no bills :D
  12. teknodave13 Dec 2003, 00:16
I have already got people curious. Now are those the prices you want for them, or are you going OBO on them?

Haha sweet, what do you do for them?

I work in one of Amazon.com's Customer Service centers, answering the phones and e-mails.

Sweet man thanks... I'll let you know ASAP... Heck I'd like it all but at the least I'm thinking the EMU, mixer, and truths... :D

Perfect...just let me know when you're ready to buy. I don't want to sell them to just any cat, you know...these are in brand new condition and took me a while to find them...so I would like the buyer to take care of them. teknodave, obviously I cannot ask the same price I paid for them since I used them, even though none have more than 12 total hours of use and they're in the same condition I bought them, except upgraded OS...which improved them a lot. I don't want to lose money over them because...well...you know...it doesn't make sense selling for cheaper if they're still new like I bought them... hopefully I won't loose much money :)

Nah I wouldn't ask for much less... perhaps a little but not a huge amount. ;)

i know what you mean oobe, the army's not let up on me, but what little time you get to spend with your gear won't seem that bad when you're kicking yourself in the ass for getting rid of it. i haven't had the chance to touch my synth, much less get on here for the past month... look at it this way, we're getting alot of time off in the next 2 weeks for the hollidays...lock yourself in your room & create! i sold all of my gear after i came back in the army & within 3 days, i was climbing the walls. the 5 minutes a day i got to spend on my music was sorely missed...
    anyhow...cheers,
    mac

Well, here's my last shitty song...I just felt all these weird emotions while sitting in front of the PC and well...the song came out weird...and sentimental. It's not mastered or anything...I only played and recorded everything and converted it to MP3. I had a little bit of time to spare today.

By the way, I only used the Nova's sounds with Cubase SX's LM-7 and LM-9 drums.

I know where you are coming from, It is hard, being in the Military, to find time for music. I have virtually no free time, and I am always deploying. I found that the easiest way for me is to do it on my laptop. Hope you have good luck in the Army. Normally, I would get in a pissing contest with you, being that I am a Marine, but since you are a fan of TC, its all good.
