Ok boyo's i know you got a lot on your plate, between mp3.com going down, working on new tracks, prick promoter from canada, web design and general day to day real life stuff. but...

When is the VIP section going to open, i know alot of hardcore fans want access and are ready and willing to pay any fees. The higher encoding would be nice, and especially sample packs!

Can we get an status update on this section ?

   Thanks
   David

Still working on solutions but I think it'll be a regular FTP account where you'll pay an annual fee to get access...

It's not a fancy solution but I suppose it'll work pretty well?

Give me your opinions and we'll get this thing started.

A regular FTP account would work fine, simple and easy enough maybe break it down to diffrent directories..

   Like

   images\
   samplepacks\

and whatever else you had in mind.

Just got the trancecontrol.com serverspace upgraded to 500 Mb - should be enough to get us started with this... Next task will be to start the work on building the database and it's functions, diffrent access levels depending on type of user (VIP, Normal...) Some tracks will be downloadable while others only up for streaming depending on your status...

I'll have a go with this during the weekend to see how far I can figure this thing out and to ensure we'll come out with a good solution that works for everyone.

   Best,

Btw - the reason for me to do this the hard way - I want to keep track of who's downloading what, analyze popular areas etc... It's all just for my own research and to be able to take strategical desicions regarding future releases etc.
