Proxim027 Nov 2003, 01:12 When you bought the t[]c cds off of mp3.com how long did it take for them to come. Its been 10 days and my order still says pending. . . . this is getting kinda frusterating. :madgo: I have emailed them a few times and no response. Could anyone clue me in on how this works?OneLoneMan27 Nov 2003, 01:48 I think I had mine within 7 or 8 days, maybe less. I really can't remember. I do remember that I didn't have to e-mail them or make any other inquiries.teknodave27 Nov 2003, 04:17 I ordered M2002 Vol 2 on November 7, it shipped the 8th, and I got it on the 14th, even with the Veterans' Day holiday in between.
They ship from San Diego. So if it took a week just to take the jaunt up I-5 to Seattle, it will probably take up to 10 business days or so to get wherever you are at.
Plus they stopped selling CDs on the 14th I think. So if you ordered around that time, I do not think they are in a rush to ship. I sent an e-mail to them on November 10 to get tracking information on mine, and they never responded.
So as long as CNET keeps up their word per the letter Alle shared with us earlier today, maybe the change will be a good thing. :unsure:Guest27 Nov 2003, 08:13 Well i live in SD, so the ship should be no problem. . . . . and they kept selling cds til nov 17 12:00 PST, if u try top buy cds now u aren't able to. So these were indeed purchased. I don't know whats takin it so long. It just says PendingProxim027 Nov 2003, 08:14 Guest wrote: Well i live in SD, so the ship should be no problem. . . . . and they kept selling cds til nov 17 12:00 PST, if u try top buy cds now u aren't able to. yea thats meteknodave28 Nov 2003, 07:00 I would call 411 and ask for San Diego or 800.555.1212 to see if they have some digits, since they are not responding to your e-mails.
It could also have something to do with the card you used for the purchase. For one reason or another, the issuing bank is not authorizing the charge, if that is the case, I would advise contacting them to see if they can provide a resolution.
I am not aware how much of the money from the purchase goes to t[]c tho either, so I bet it would be nice for the order to actually complete, so they can get the money toward more equipment, and come back better and stronger than ever once the transition is complete.Proxim028 Nov 2003, 19:25 I just called mp3.com customer service, and i had to leave a message! :madgo: :madgo: They still haven't responded to my emails, almost 2 weeks nowTrancefuzion28 Nov 2003, 22:02 Well back when they were doing better I got mine in about 3-4 days with regular shipping but that's probably only because I live about 100 miles north of them. ;)Proxim028 Nov 2003, 22:36 i probably live 30 miles north of them since im about 30 mins from the city. . the problem is they haven't processed my order. And the website is gonna go down soon i think. :madgo: :madgo:Proxim028 Nov 2003, 22:37 Dec. 2 it goes down god this sucks. still nothing and thats in a few days argh!teknodave29 Nov 2003, 19:44 Have they already charged/debited your card? If they have and do not ship, dispute the charges.
Or since you are not that far, go pick it up yourself, and get a refund of the shipping charges! :PProxim02 Dec 2003, 03:33 Okay, heres the deal as of now.
I ordered the same 4 cds twice. One set for me and one for my brother. :music: So i placed my order on Nov 16 and his was on Nov 17. My orders status has been changed to Fulfilled* the * = not yet shipped ( but processed) WHile my brothers order still says Pending.
Its now Dec 1 (my time) meaning the site will go down tomorrow. argh. . . :madgo: While i just recieved my Out There cd which i purchased on Nov 27. . . .you'd think mp3.com would be a bit faster than this.Proxim02 Dec 2003, 03:35 Also, both orders have been charged on the credit card. . . . on statementTrancefuzion2 Dec 2003, 06:35 I'd give them a little more time. If you think about it it could take longer since probably many people were ordering their CDs last minute before they go down... probably thousands of orders... so it could take some time... just be patient... ;)OneLoneMan5 Dec 2003, 00:38 Proxim0 wrote: Also, both orders have been charged on the credit card. . . . on statement
Dispute the charges. Tell your credit card company that you have not received your good and feel that you may not ever receive them and that you will not pay for them. They will contact the seller to get their story. This will either expedite your order or you will receive credit for them.Proxim05 Dec 2003, 03:31 Yay i just checked today. . .(if u have an old link it still works and u can log on) and it said shipped dec 5 which is tomorrow. . .so i guess thats good. w00 w00! :music: I guess i was a tad impatient. But i needed my TRANCE! :DProxim06 Dec 2003, 07:50 when u ordered cds thru mp3.com did it come ups or like just regular US postal service mail?teknodave11 Dec 2003, 22:15 Hope u got it okay ... I am unsure how mine shipped, it came to work. I think standard shipping is postal service, and the expidited varies, some company I had never heard of shipped me "Audiographic Moments." That was a nightmare.
The apartment complex I lived at was really messed up. I was in Bldg #I, and it was next to Bldg#A, B, and V. Go figure. So the freight company kept it at their center for me to pick up, another nightmare, since I had no car at the time. But I got it!
