hehe sorry bro. All in good fun. ;)TranceSynthVania4 Nov 2003, 08:43 Actually, I didn't find it that funny either... I'm sitting on a computer at school now, because my computer wouldn't boot after I shut it down becuase of that stuff :angry:Trancefuzion4 Nov 2003, 08:48 TranceSynthVania wrote: Actually, I didn't find it that funny either... Alright what was intended as a harmless practical joke is getting people pissed. I really didn't want to do that. Sorry guys. I hope you forgive me for that. I removed the link. :(Trancefuzion4 Nov 2003, 08:49 TranceSynthVania wrote: Actually, I didn't find it that funny either... Although it really shouldn't have kept your computer from booting up. If anything it might have filled up your memory but a simple reboot should have taken care of that. All it is is a flash movie and some javascript. Nothing more. Nothing that could harm your computer. So your computer must be really screwed. Sorry about that bro. I dunno why it happened. I hope you get your computer fixed soon.
Oh and I won't be posting any more links like that I promise. I thought it would all be taken in a light manner but I guess not. I don't want to cause any more trouble. So my apologies. Hope you call can forgive me.AlexW4 Nov 2003, 10:17 I guess it's one of thoes "silent pic - suddenly a maxed sound comes?!"
Thoes joke's are unoriginal and not funny at all, especially on a site where many ppl have studio monitors that costs a shitload of money...Dj-M4 Nov 2003, 15:08 Why is everyone so pissed?
I thought it was very funny. ;)TranceSynthVania4 Nov 2003, 15:44 Alex:
No it wasn't like that... It was that "You are an idiot" thing that pops up and keep moving around on your monitor, and you can't close it, and then like 50 other windows pops up.. and this really loud song is going on saying "you are an idiot"
Ben:
Of course I forgive you, I don't blame you for fucking up/with my computer, but the next time, maybe you could just add a small note or something saying "keep down the volume" and "reboot needed".
It was kinda funny actually, I did on a friends computer on school and he laughed his ass off. hehe, but I just got pissed because my computer got fucked and my Gefore 4 Ti 4600 graphics card got ruined (for some weird reason).ephex4 Nov 2003, 21:39 TSV: The link [whatever it was, it was removed before I read this thread] did NOT ruin your graphics card. In fact, it ruined itself. Not too long ago [2 weeks or so] one of my dad's co-workers computers seemed to have been screwed and would not even get past the bios, I take a look at it and it's all the graphics card's fault, and it just happened to be the same graphics card that you have. I guess nVidia made some bad chips or something. If you are wondering his card was manufactured by PNY.Trancefuzion4 Nov 2003, 22:35 ephex wrote: TSV: The link [whatever it was, it was removed before I read this thread] did NOT ruin your graphics card. Yeah NEVER EVER EVER get a PNY. They're cheap and they have a bad reputation for ruining computers.TranceSynthVania5 Nov 2003, 10:58 wtf is PNY ? :blink:OneLoneMan5 Nov 2003, 21:57 I had to use the Task Manager to rid my comouter of that silly pop-up.
TSV
I agree with ephex the PNY GeForce cards are troublesome. Remove the card and replace it with something else and see if your system won't boot.
PNY is a company that makes/sells computer products. Usually someone else’s with their name o them.Trancefuzion5 Nov 2003, 21:58 TranceSynthVania wrote: wtf is PNY ?
Ah they make computer memory over here in the US. They can do that but more recently they took up making Geforce cards, but the electrical on them really sucks and they're fried many a computer. -_-TranceSynthVania6 Nov 2003, 07:18 oh, that sounds bad :/
But I have a dell computer with free support, so they are coming today to change the card.... I dunno what they put in :PTrancefuzion6 Nov 2003, 08:26 TranceSynthVania wrote: oh, that sounds bad :/
