When I heard it i didn't know that it was made by Trance Control, because there was no artist :)
But it was so cool! :-)djdarkshade3 Nov 2003, 22:47 Fragment of TimeDjDaed4 Nov 2003, 04:24 Fragment of Time
Good, I am not the only one that heard that as the first track by t[]c.t[]c lover17 Nov 2003, 23:55 Gothenburg sound or emotions. I chekced out mp3.com and combed the top 40 list.Proxim018 Nov 2003, 02:56 the first one i ever heard was We Are No Strangers. Deginately a classic. That was a few years ago before i really knew much about t[]c.teknodave23 Nov 2003, 06:40 The first official track that I had laid ears on was Love and Desire, since the "Beyond 2001" CD was the first that I have heard of the great t[]c.
I thought that I have heard it all ... but alas, I have not heard of "Fragment of Time." :cwy:OneLoneMan23 Nov 2003, 07:00 tecknodave
There are a lot of early t[]c songs that have either never been put on CD or the CD is no longer available. Some songs are available peer to peer but you have to be careful as many songs are labeled t[]c but are not. Also the quality is not always first grade. bLiNd seems to have the fullest collection of t[]c songs and I got several from him but I can't find the link to the site where he posted them. I'm still looking for "Virtual Love" and have ask that someone post it. alle may be going to post all the old t[]c tracks soon, or have I got that wrong alle? Anyway I'm after all the t[]c songs produced and released in one form or another. I want the complete collection!
:music:teknodave23 Nov 2003, 10:38 Since I purchased "Beyond 2001," I have downloaded every tune off the soon-to-be defunct mp3.com, as well as purchase every t[]c CD thru them.
On my flight to Orlando back in May, I crammed a MiniDisc with about 40+ t[]c tunes, I think I had it timed at about 4 hours and 25 minutes, or around that ballpark. My flights were about 7 hours, but it was the only thing I listened to. As haphazard as the fades into the next song were (10 second delay using WinAmp), it turned out allright. I entitled it the t[]c MegaMix. :music:Psonyk23 Nov 2003, 23:52 Well, the very first track I've heard from T[]C is a track EVERYBODY knows but it's a remix nobody's heard of !!?! :
Trance[]Control - Atomic Dance Explosion ( Starcraft Edit )
I kid you not.
This track is not listed anywhere on the MP3 page ( therefore does not seem to count as a full-fledged remix ) and I have no info as to who did this " edit ".
The track is moreless the original track littered with the world-reknowned hit computer game Starcraft's soundbites.
A killer track and sounds ripped straight from a killer game : a recipe for eardrum murdah !
So yeah, if anyone if interested, I could upload it somewhere for people to download. :P

OoOo!! I am most definately interested!! :music:
I would volunteer some of my space, but I fear that it would far exceed my bandwidth allotment for the month. It does not cap it off, but if I go over, its like $1/GB.
How many remixes of ADE are out there anyways? My roomies downloaded off the net a bunch of Dragonball Z battles to the beat of ADE, thats about it.OneLoneMan24 Nov 2003, 01:52 Psonyk's signature reads:

Is he just not the bestest?! Some of t[]c's early stuff! :wub:Alle24 Nov 2003, 16:18 Oh crap - those tracks (From the link that Teknodave posted) almost make me feel sick... Remember creating most of them after buying my very first synth - ages ago :)
The very first work by TC = Another Beat; Made with an old 386 DX 40Mhz, 4 MB RAM and a Soundblaster AWE32 soundcard...DjDaed24 Nov 2003, 17:10 Its still good Alle, at least for a die hard t[]c fan like myself.teknodave24 Nov 2003, 22:25 Yah, Alle, I thought those tracks were pretty tight! Last nite was the first time that I heard them. I had the order mixed up a bit, and with my WinAmp doing the 10 second fade, some of em really flowed with one another and sounded awesome! :music:
Maybe you, or someone can make some extended mixes of some of em, like "PK2oons." And I love the audio on "Fragment" ... "Welcome to Complicated Health Plan..." that is so funny, cuz its TRUE! :wacko:OneLoneMan25 Nov 2003, 02:33 Aright, listen up, alle! They may be "old crap" to you but we are the ones who listen to your work. We are the fans. And we happen to like lots of that "old crap". :P
I can respect your feelings as an artist. You are always striving to better your work and to experiment with different things. This is a good thing. But this does not negate your earlier works! Just because you no longer like them or feel that they are up to your current standards please don't discount how we your fans feel about your earlier work. -_-
I'm sure that you realize that as you grow as an artist that your work will change. As your sound changes you will surely gain new fans but you may lose others. Fans of your earlier work. The legacy you leave behind will be your earlier work and your earlier fans. So please, do what you can for us. Let us like your early work and help us find it or provide it for us. Don't cut us off or show destine for your early works. That amounts to a slap in the face to those of us who like it and I think you are better than that. :)DjDaed25 Nov 2003, 12:01 I understand where Alle is coming from OLM, as an artist, I hate all of my tracks, but some people like them.OneLoneMan26 Nov 2003, 20:07 :D I understand where he is coming from too! I really do! I am an artist at heart but without any time or means to express what's inside. So I really do understand. But I want all artists to understand the perspective of the patron.
What drives an artist is the search for perfection. Since this can never be achieved the artist continues to push the envelope and to create. But along the way many great works are created that many people admire. It may be these works that are the artist’s legacy and many of these works may be early works or those hated by the artist.
In a world where an artist is trying to make a living from their art catering to the patrons, at least to some degree, is necessary. If you don't produce what the public likes then you don't make money.
In some arts, such as sculpting, the artist makes one original and that's it. All copies are just that, copies. Painters make one original painting and everything else is a print. Even artists who do the original artwork to be copied there is still only one original. But as long as the copies can be made the patrons can share in the artist's feelings when the work was created. So the work lives on but there is still only one original.
With music, especially now with digital technology, things are a little different. The copy is the same as the original. So for all intent and purposes everyone can enjoy the original artwork. "Originals" can be made over and over for as long as a "copy" exists. Unlike the other arts music is one that is meant to be shared and "owned" by every patron. So for as long as the music is desired it should be available.
If I were a music artist I would feel compelled to make available all my published/released music for as long as it was desired despite how I may have grown to feel about the music. If I was trying to make a living by my art I would, at least in part, cater to what the patrons wanted to hear. This would somewhat stifle me as an artist because I would not be as free as I wanted to be to make the kind of music that I wanted. But in the real world sacrifices have to be made.
But if all I wanted to do was produce my art regardless then I would have to be satisfied with making less money and losing patrons (while hopefully gaining others) as my work progressed, evolved and grew. I would be in it for the sole satisfaction that it brought to my soul and not in it to make money. But I would still make available all my previous work to all who wanted to buy it.
In other words... I want all of t[]c’s music!... ALL of it, ya hear!? :Pmustela4 Dec 2003, 22:26 Just heard Gothenberg Sound over on digitaldeejay.com and came hunting for more info. Too late for MP3.com :(
Look forward to seeing some Vinyl releases though :DJeff P5 Dec 2003, 01:07 Well my first was Atomic Dance Explosion, thanx for the links to the old songs (I vaguely remember Fragment), and does anyone know where I can download Surprise Track? I'm trying to get all of the songs on the different CDs, and I just can't find Surprise Track anywhere!Jeff P5 Dec 2003, 01:09 By the way, Amazon.com still has the track listing for Out There. You mean I can't download the song? :SDjDaed16 Dec 2003, 21:03 Unfortunatly, I have yet to find a place that I could download it from. If I get permission from Alle or Andreas to put it up somplace, I could, I have the means to record it onto my computer and upload it.Alle17 Dec 2003, 00:28 Guys - I'm working hard to get the trance[]control Music Vault opened - yet there are still a few issues to deal with - mainly database and design work - will be up in a zip I hope...
Meanwhile - use http://www.trancecontrol.com/mp3 for a few of our existing tracks.
//AlexR3v0Lu7iOn 1919 Dec 2003, 16:21 blimey, was years ago i heard my first T[]C tune. was bloody good tho :D :music:aZnXgIn5 Jan 2004, 18:10 My first exposure to t[]c was from a mixed cd made to me by a friend in 2001. The song was "I Love Trance [Airplay Mix]". I was hooked immediately and asked him the next day. Unfortunately, he didn't even know what the name of the song was. But a couple months later, another friend made me a cd with 6 t[]c songs. [Psychotic Chaos, Dream of Trance, The Beat Goes On, This is My House, The Path To Eternity and Deep Vibrations] I loved them all since they stood out among the rest of the cd and asked him who they were by. Thankfully, he introduced to me the works of Trance[]Control and I've been a huge fan ever since. After hearing those songs mentioned, I went on Kazaa and downloaded as many t[]c songs as possible. The feeling I got was indescribable when I eventually got to the track "I Love Trance" and it reminded me of the song I heard so long ago. I have been a huge fan of t[]c since.DavidSKi23 Jan 2004, 19:56 damn i forget the track... but it went like this...

Mine was Deep Vibrations.
Siema! Jak się tu winampa włącza?slapdaddy0620 Feb 2004, 02:03 Mine was Deep Vibrations :) I was searching for Darude music online and I came across Deep Vibrations and I fell in love lol. :music:MgrMOOSe20 Feb 2004, 03:41 Let's see... The first t[]c song I heard was either Deep Vibrations or Atomic Dance Explosion. I remember hearing it (which ever one it was) and thinking to myself, "man, this is awesome..." Unfortunately it took me a couple of years to truly grasp the greatness that is trance[]control. Now, whenever I hear a track, I get goosebumps. The sounds reach straight to the bone.
On another note, don't mean to try to hijack the thread or anything, but just like to formally say hi to all. New to the boards and I think I might stick around for awhile.lkollar23 Feb 2004, 19:08 Looking at the datestamps, I downloaded both The Beat Goes On [TB house mix] and Atomic Dance Explosion [Radio Edit] on July 15, 1999. It was Atomic Dance Explosion by 15 minutes. :D
Wow, has it really been 4-1/2 years?!??!? :eek:DjDaed24 Feb 2004, 16:56 bum.. bumm.. bum... bumm... tisss

That's the first t[]c song I ever heard. Obviously, I loved it and went looking for more. There are some good Starcraft remixes at StarCraft.org.
I'd really like to know who originally created the Liquid Bass track (before they added the Starcraft sounds in). Any help would be appreciated, email is mod_2k3[at]hotmail.com becasue I don't check the boards here often.
modbbrriiaann27 Mar 2004, 14:48 For me it was either Atomic, Vision, or that song with that woman asking for your password. I made a tape from the first songs i d/l i must have it somewhere.

I made a couple of cassettes of t[]c & others back before I had a CD burner. One of the tapes was for a dance instructor friend of mine.
Now I have a couple of CD burners handy, and a CD player in the minivan, I've left tape behind for now....OleOlafsen6 Apr 2004, 16:02 My first track was Atomic Dance Explosion. And it is forever one of my favourites.
I like the melodic tracks more. The others are good too and my speakers are jumpin if I hear one of these, but if I have the choice, I prefer the melodic songs.
More melodic is more fun for me.Northern_Fist26 Apr 2004, 02:09 It was Atomic Dance Explosion - I think. At least it was the first song to really grip my attention that I was listening to something utterly fantastic and had to come back for more.
More Melodic with intense buildup is the way I like it.whyrph16 May 2004, 01:48 My first was Epicenter, probably, .in my friend's Honda Accord. He totally abused its speakers - standard ones, not even subs, but you could definitely feel it.
Hmm . . .I really really thought t[]c sucked back then, too. Fortunately said friend was my only ride home from school for a while, and after a week or so I saw the light. :)Radium2 Jun 2004, 15:23 Atomic Dance ExplosionDraxxus8 Jul 2004, 23:18 An old song written strictly on a CS1x.
