What can I say else than BAD ASS...

I know WennE is a big fan of Marco V and it isen't hard to feel the insperation!
Marco V style combined with a t[]c twist, and of course some acid, I digg this!

I had no idea what to expect from this song, but was I in for a surpise. BAD ASS is definitely this song's definition (you should have called it that :rollwink: ). Now I see it as: first there was Nation 911 and High Society, now there's Imported Nightmare. Seriously, your guys' talent is unfathomable. Keep it up! You're on a role...

 This is the most amazing song I have heard from you guys since Vol. 1!!!

I have to admit I was getting really discouraged about the songs you've been releasing lately. Nothing wrong with them, I just didn't really care for them.

But that's now short lived. This track is wicked!!! PERFECT production and I mean PERFECT. I love those tribal beats keep those in mind in further productions ;)
Then of course that acid feel as Alex said. I just can't get enough of it!!!

The only thing that could possibly be changed is perhaps a tiny bit more melodic but its still great the way it is. That's just my personal taste.

Great work guys. Gimme more like this! Please!!! :D

Took a while for this song to sink in for me i do like it , and you can totally see the dark german club scene in the track. I too am curious what it is , that makes that high pitched drill sound?

Hmmm...a very unpredictable track...I didn't know you guys had that side too, hehe 8) . I liked it a lot...it's so different...I think you guys are evolving into something else...which is good...those last two songs really ignited a new spark. The previous three songs were almost the same, and to be honest, I didn't like them...that wasn't you guys...it didn't have the t[]c spirit. But these two new tracks cleaned everything up...keep it up.

Well, that's YOUR opinion is that it rocked. I liked it too but it didn't move me...that's why I wrote that. Now this two new ones were really different...I loved them. Everybody has their up and downs...even famous artists...it's all good. I can say now that with those two new songs, t[]c is back in track...better than ever :D

Hehe, I'd have to agree about t[]c being back! These last two songs have given me a feeling inside equivalent to what I felt when I first heard Mission 2002: Vol 1. They are bangin'!
  18. Sonik30 Sept 2003, 00:01
I actually liked Progression a lot too. It was very catchy.
  19. OOBE30 Sept 2003, 01:56
I finally got the hang of Lobotomized Unicorn...I noticed it sounds kind of scary. I know you'll tell me straight up it doesn't but pay close attention and you'll notice that the melody gets in your brain and actually triggers a weird, scary feeling. :D

Now those are wicked reviews! Glad you enjoy the new work - and as a reply to previous questions: The pitched 'drill-like' sound is a sample we found - probably a gradually piched hooversound of some sort. In our minds it's supposed to imitate a train wistle.

  21. David McGowan1 Oct 2003, 02:27
Ahh that explains it ! thanks alle, i kinda figure thats the sound you were going for, but its got that evil side to the sample, i love it.

    David
  22. Guest3 Oct 2003, 18:05
    this song rocks omg !

    i love the acid

keep on going this way yeah !!
  23. Gino6 Oct 2003, 01:55
These to last song are not bad but i prefer song with more melodie. to much repeat, and i got bored fast. i love more song like Progress. But i imagine thes last to song more melodic synth i they then be perfect.

  27. Alle26 Oct 2003, 22:02
Using a computer, Logic Audio and a bunch of Softsynths & a huge sample library.

    //Alex
  28. DjDaed26 Oct 2003, 23:15
It is hard to believe that t[]c uses software synths to do their music. It just sounds great. It is amazing the advances in software synths these last few years.

A hint - found this synth just a few days ago - didn't try it yet but seems VERY promising...

Hey bro just thought you'd want to know you can download Atmosphere off of www.suprnova.org with BitTorrent (I recommend BT++ at http://btplusplus.sourceforge.net/)
  33. TranceSynthVania27 Oct 2003, 18:57
I have atmosphere! I bought it tho, and it weren't too expensive, thought it is over 4 gigs and it came on 6 cds :P
  34. TranceSynthVania27 Oct 2003, 19:00
oh, BTW, Atmosphere ROXX!! It has amazing sounds and some of them even scares me sometimes :P
I would say it's well worth the money, so is the other Spectrasonics VSTi's, but I don't have them yet.

i wanna get the bass triology VST, as i have a terrible range of bass sounds, all i have thats half decent, to use for bass is V-Station (Preset Bass 20, tweaked a little, sometimes mixed with a softer lower sound aswell!) :)

And as someone that works @ Amazon.com, he would be 100% correct. :P
