DarthJiggler9 Oct 2003, 02:38 Some of you have mentioned how you don't just listen to T[]C as much as you "feel" it. I find Trance and T[]C in particular to be nearly psychoactive in a beneficial way. I'll be in a bad mood and it will lift my spirit like few other things can.
Sunday I was driving home after spending a wonderful weekend with a young lady I have been chatting with online for a while (too early to tell but it looks hopeful that a lasting, healthy relationship may form). The weekend had been one of extreme elation, as I had been single for a long while. I knew that such elation does not last, and that I'd eventually come down, but I'd did not want that to happen on the 2 1/2 hour drive home (Monday is more appropriate for a bad moods anyway :D ).
I had downloaded "Progression" the week before as well as some others, but "Progression" helped keep my spirits high. Something about it just keeps me way UP. I have had it on repeat in the cd player in the truck since Sunday afternoon. Other T[]C tracks have had a similar effect on me at times.David McGowan9 Oct 2003, 02:48 I totally agree! next time you have to focus on a tough assignment/task and you need something that allows you to focus, and concentrate , crystal dreams is the song. Something about that melody , just puts me in overdrive, like i can do anything. give it a try some time. ;)
DavidAlle9 Oct 2003, 10:32 Guys, I'm glad to hear our music has this effect on you - it simply means we've done our job well with recreating our emotions with the music.
Let's hope they don't classify our music as being a drug
Best,

I really hope not Alle.
I agree with everyone here, it is an emotional genre and group. I do the same thing. When I have had a long hard day at work, I come and listen to some t[]c, helps calm me down. That and a lot of cigarettes.OneLoneMan10 Oct 2003, 00:21 I am facing the possibility of back surgery soon. This will mean a week or so in the hospital post op. I have made an mp3 CD of t[]c's music combined with music from many of the other Dj's from the forum. I am seriously considering taking my portable mp3 player with me to the hospital and taking only a few CD's with me. The t[]c combo will be one of them.
:music:David McGowan10 Oct 2003, 01:31 Good luck with that one man. , when is the surgery ?
Davidlazyboyzob1210 Oct 2003, 06:11 You hit the nail on the spot. "On The Other Side" is my new "relaxation" song as well as Dj Shog's 3 songs. Check out his music sometime! I hope your surgery goes VERY well!DjDaed10 Oct 2003, 15:14 Hope you get better soon.TranceSynthVania10 Oct 2003, 17:22 OLM:
I hope the best for you!OneLoneMan10 Oct 2003, 18:53 No surgery scheduled as of yet. All the non-surgical options have yet to be exhausted. But I'm not getting better and I can't live like this. Too much impairment. The Orthopedic doc wants me to see the surgeon for a consultation. I've been putting it off for as long as possible hoping that the non-surgical option of treatment would work, but it has only brought me so far. I'll probably see the surgeon sometime within the next 2 weeks. I'll know more after that.ElectroBeatz10 Oct 2003, 19:49 hehe "Underground Raver"!!! that song makes me happy all the time. Alle, when ya gonna get it up on the mp3.com page?
as far as a good "relaxing" song... i didn't listen to it much at first, but now i listen to it all the time... "On The Other Side" either that or in my opinion t[]c's best song, "Beginning of the End"BALLISTIC SOLUTION14 Oct 2003, 04:02 music talk, t[]c as psychoactive substance, darth jiggler
