ephex8 Oct 2003, 20:11 My third song is finished! :D Any and ALL feedback is welcome, especially suggestions or anything about it you think could be better. It's mixed [probably poorly because it is my first time doing a mixdown] but not mastered... deal with it :P

The off key bass through me off at first but afterwhile its ok..
I dont really care for the clap personally. its not bad but something about it i dunno..
i like your layers, its a nice laid back track. and the melody is pretty.
nice break, sounded very nice.
It could be my crappy headphones at work but it sounds as if your kick is getting lost in the mix. and that some rythem sections bleed into the bassline. so it might need a little eq work , and mastering of course.
Overall nice Job. keep producing!

It has this low, sort of ambient sound to it, not too explosive like the peaks of other trance tracks, I really like that. The sound FX you have for some of the drums is really awesome, keep doing that, it's a cool trick not many people can get the hang of. I like the chord progressions too. I also like how most of the synths are very dry in FX. For some reason, simplicity just makes it all ... happen ... better. But this track really does need to be mastered out. Very nice job on this track!! For a 3rd track, it's pretty freakin' amazing!

I really appreciate the feeback and am glad you like it ;) I know the clap wasn't the best but my family got tired of hearing the solo'd clap repeating over and over while i tweak it... -_-
As for the bass... lots of work went into it, I'm glad it payed off ;). I'm not sure which part of the drums you are talking about though, Lithius.
